About Department

The Department of Pure Science was established in 2020 at MVP Samaj’s Adv. Namdevrao Madhavrao Thakare Commerce, Management and Computer Science (CMCS) College, Nashik, with the vision of providing quality education in fundamental sciences and developing a strong foundation in scientific knowledge, analytical thinking, research, and innovation. The department brings together a diverse range of scientific disciplines, providing students with opportunities to understand natural phenomena from different scientific perspectives. The Department of Pure Science comprises the following disciplines:

  • Chemistry
  • Microbiology
  • Zoology
  • Botany
  • Environmental Science
  • Physics
  •  Mathematics
  • Electronics
The department promotes an integrated approach to science education by combining theoretical knowledge with practical learning, laboratory work, field-based studies, project work, and scientific activities. The faculty members are committed to creating a student-centred learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and scientific temperament. Students are encouraged to participate in practical activities, seminars, workshops, projects, competitions, and other academic and co-curricular activities.Through its multidisciplinary structure, the Department of Pure Science aims to prepare students for higher education, research, teaching, industry, competitive examinations, and diverse career opportunities in the scientific field.
